I've always been fascinated with the history of cemeteries as well as the memories within them. I love that volunteering with Find a Grave means helping people find records of their loved ones and making a life tangible by adding a location with photos and dates that someone may have never known before.


I decided to volunteer with Find a Grave because I know the impact this can make. Because of this website I was able to locate my fathers gravestone for the first time. This led to me being able to visit it in person, which greatly supported my journey of healing.
