My current project is researching the +3,800 Winnebago County Civil War Veterans. Searching for obits, & pictures. Also adding Veterans to FaG. Thank you to all the FaG members that are helping with headstone pictures.

Previously, I had been actively researching the Women's Ambulance Safety Patrol Unit #1 Rockford Illinois 1940-47. The women prepared for a possible Homeland/natural emergency. They learned First Aid, motor mechanics (change oil, tires & lube a chassis), map reading, convoy & blackout driving, gas mask training, canteen cooking & rifle training. My hope is to honor these women.
