I live and volunteer in Ogle County, IL. I'm pretty sure I've been in every cemetery we have. My grandmother and her sisters would picnic on their cemetery plots so I come by my love of cemeteries naturally.

I would love to help you confirm a burial (in Ogle County, IL), but you need to respond to my questions. This is not directed at any one person. It happens regularly. If it's in your family tree information, add that! If "mom said so", add that! You can't just assume they are buried with family.

Read the Help section occasionally. (I'm reminding myself, too. I don't think changes to the guidelines are announced. I just saw a new one.) "If a hyphen or an apostrophe is part of the name, use the punctuation. A period should be used after an abbreviated name, for example a middle initial. If the full name is known, use the full name and not the initial. Suffixes, Prefixes, Titles, or honorary do not belong in any Name Field."

I have received numerous lists of memorial numbers requesting transfers. Please read the information provided by FindAGrave:

"To request a transfer on the memorial in question, click on 'Other-Contact Manager' under the 'Suggest Edits' button and type your message to the memorial manager. Be sure to include your relationship to the person and any other reason for the transfer request. This message will be sent to the member, even if there is not an email address listed on their profile."

This will ensure you are selecting the correct memorials and I am transferring the correct memorials. This should also prevent someone from sending me a cut/paste list of memorials that aren't even mine to transfer!
