We are a local non-profit formed to support our local cemetery. Our Mission Statement is:
Friends of Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth Ohio seeks to enhance the aesthetic, historic, and educational features within the cemetery; to honor the final resting places for loved ones; and afford a reflective, welcoming space for the entire community.
Our website is: www.friendsofwoodlawncemetery.org We have a nifty database (about 95% complete) of burials and where they are located. We also have maps that identify the sections. This is very handy if you visit the cemetery looking for gravesites. Also on our website is a link to the original cemetery burial ledger through 1973. You can also find us on FaceBook.
Any photos we have taken are yours to copy if you wish.
To confirm and ensure the accuracy of our memorials, we ask that you please provide proof of your source for any edits you submit. Adding the document to the memorial is the best option to do this.
