I was born on Long Island, New York and currently live in Madison, Wisconsin. I am a dual citizen of the United States and the Republic of Ireland, and my paternal grandmother's parents were Canadian. My paternal grandfather's roots go back to colonial New York and New England.

I'm both a Computer Scientist and a Lawyer by education and profession, and also enjoy geography, history, music, travel, and languages by hobby.

My 20th century ancestry is from County Sligo Ireland, The South Fork of New York's Long Island, and Nova Scotia Canada. Further back, add the North Fork, Westchester New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nantucket, Prince Edward Island, Scotland, England, France, and Switzerland. Even further back, we are all of 100% African origin.

I have known relatives living today in Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Ireland and Northern Ireland, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, the United States, and Wales.

I enjoy life with my husband, Dan, and our two wonderful cats, Boomie and Molly.
