My name is Kinslee, and I'd like to share a little bit about my journey. I stumbled upon this website during the Covid pandemic while searching for my own family history, and I found the idea of "visiting people virtually" utterly captivating. History has always been a deep well of fascination for me. I often find myself lost in thought, reminiscing about what life used to be like, and there's something truly special about old photographs that can capture a moment in time; it's a beautiful reminder of the past. As I began to trace my family tree, my curiosity only grew. When I uncovered the stories of my ancestors, I couldn't help but want to dig deeper. This passion soon transformed into a mission to help others reclaim their own histories. I feel a strong sense of responsibility to ensure that no one is forgotten. So many souls have slipped into obscurity, and I strive to connect faces with names, bringing them back into the light of memory. Whenever I visit cemeteries nearby, I make it a point to photograph every single grave, documenting each one to the best of my ability. I find immense joy in connecting families and preserving history, and it feels good to give back in this way.
