Being able to assist people in locating relatives or having photos of the grave site is my way of giving back.

Many of the memorials I have entered have no obituary and the information is limited to what is on the marker. The latest findagrave update will allow you to add an obit. Please use the edit feature and add a bio and other information.

Recently I have started adding FamilySearch.org ID# (www.familysearch.org) to the memorials in the 'flower' section. You can use these ID# to find your relatives in Family Search.org.

If you come across a friend or kin in my created or managed memorials, please ask for a transfer.

Hopefully, the information found on the memorials will assist you in your family research. Staying connected to the past is very important.
Because of work done by other Find a Grave contributors, I have closed many gaps in my genealogical searches. If I have posted one of your friends or relatives, please let me know, so I will transfer the memorial to you, ~David
