I've studied my genealogy since I was a teenager. A great-aunt got me interested in it when she wrote a couple of books on our family history. They were type-written, photocopied pages (with photos), and bound in "Duo-Tangs".

I live in Empress, Alberta, Canada and am doing volunteer work for our Empress Cemetery:

• Created a map & directory.

• Continue to do research on the people in the cemetery, adding the information to the website and Find a Grave.
• Various physical work in the cemetery.

Sub-plot labeling in the Empress Cemetery.

Unfortunately, the sub-plot numbers 1 & 2 vary on which side of the plot they are. See "Sub-plot labeling" at https://empresscemetery.ca/ for an explanation.

I originally added "left" or "right" for clarification, but that was before I had access to the Empress Cemetery Register. In that Register, they said "south" or "north". That makes more sense, so I am changing them all: left becomes south, right becomes north.
