It took me awhile to catch the genealogy itch. A maternal aunt was a shutterbug and I loved all the photos/slides she took of our family. Then after college, I sat with an elder cousin and she chronicled her branch of the family. I am still looking for some of the 50-odd relatives she told me about at the family barbecue over 44 years ago.

The ancestors cry out to me - tell my story. I am happy to be that one in the family who puts flesh on the bones of my ancestors, passionately telling their stories with as much information as I can find. it is my joy and duty to stitch back together the rich ancestral tapestry that explains and details the origins of my roots....
