Bio
As a former military (French Army - 10 years in infantry), I had the opportunity to spend 4 and a half months in Sarajevo in 1998.
Since then, I have been a civil servant (just a change of uniform).
I am passionate about the history of my city, which is Loos en Gohelle.
I am strongly affected by World War I. Since I was 6 years old, I have been roaming the battlefield and working on all the French, Commonwealth, and German units that were stationed there.
When possible, I help families visit the area and share photos.
I make it a point to be present at every burial of soldiers discovered during construction work in Loos. I had the chance to be present at the inauguration ceremony of the extension of the Loos British Cemetery in the presence of Princess Anne.
