I started collecting information on my maternal great grandparents, who came to Manitoba in 1902 from Galicia. Since late 2012 I interviewed numerous relatives in person, by phone and written correspondence. I have searched for countless hours to verify dates and made a trip to several cemeteries across the prairies to take photos. I am close to publishing a book with family trees and written stories including the families that became related through marriage. I have bios on most pages (more to do) and family links. Bios are a valuable resource as us seekers know - obituaries tend to disappear off the internet over time.

I now use this site to help others find their relatives. Favorite places are the little country cemeteries where the original immigrants are buried.
