I enjoy uniting families together that wouldn't otherwise get joined in the afterlife. Every deceased person deserves a FG Memorial, no matter what.

If I do make a suggestion to your memorial, I am using a State of Maryland Certificate of Death which I have access to. Update! I can't supply a full death certificate to anyone. I never use family trees from the various websites that are available, and I also review other governmental documents to provide proof of my suggestions, but never census (possibly to confirm additional family members).

When I post a death certificate to FG, I immediately remove social security numbers required by FG, and eliminate the cause of death as of recently.

I would appreciate if you are making a suggestion to a memorial that I created/ adopted, that you provide verifiable documentation, not a hunch or someone else's family tree information (possibly created by someone who is not even related to the deceased).

One contributor posted on their profile that FG is not the place for death certificates, obituaries, military documents, and whatever we find as a TEAM. That these documents should be posted to Ancestry.com on a Family Tree. My observation -- very few deceased have family trees, or family members don't know where to search for information needed to start a tree, so let us ALL pitch in. FG is to memorialize the dead!
