My primary focus is researching the descendants of the three pioneer brothers Robert, William, and John, connecting members of these various branches with each other, and researching for updated and correct information. As a result, many of these branches of the three pioneer brothers have reconnected, and family research, letter, and documents have and are being shared with each other. Currently, I am spearheading the restoration of the McKee pioneer cemetery in Rockbridge County VA. which is being transformed into a Living History project. Each year many McKees from all over the country have come to visit the cemetery; now they have people and a number to connect to. From this work, we have organized clusters of McKee descendants who work with us and each other to update information on their specific branch.
