Besides a few of my own loved ones, I've created a few memorials for people unrelated to me. Thank you for offering any corrections and for your stewardship of the memorials.
I enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories, reading stories about my ancestors and researching their lives.
I've been active on Find a Grave for only a few years but I've been working on my family's genealogy for several years.
Some of my mother's ancestors came to America via the LDS routes, with the matriarch being Anne Hossack who was born in 1822 in Balfron, Stirlingshire, Scotland. She, her husband and their children sailed on the SSJames Pennell from Liverpool to New Orleans, arriving in October 1849. After residing in St. Louis, MO they travelled across the plains with Captain Wood's Company and arrived in Salt Lake City in September 1852.
I am delighted to continue the work for and with my family on our different heritages and show how we have more in common than our differences.
I enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories, reading stories about my ancestors and researching their lives.
