Finding out about my ancestors is so fascinating. I wish my dad could be here to learn with me. Found out through my dad that I am a descendant of Patriot Lt. James Egbert (memorial ID 226630378) that fought in the American Revolution. I am working with the Mary Penrose Wayne DAR chapter in Fort Wayne Indiana with my application and membership.

I've been interested and doing genealogy for approximately 20 years now. Some of my family names are:

My dad's side: BAIRD, BIRMINGHAM, HALEY, DAVENPORT, BEARD, WILLIAMS, EGBERT

My mom's side: KELLING, ANDREWS, BUTLER, HOLLANDER, STOUCH

It wasn't until I moved to NE Indiana that I was able to use, in person, the resources at Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne Indiana. I love removing the dust from the past and learning more about me and my ancestors who helped me come into being.
