I've been an avid genealogy researcher for more than 20 years. I love the hunt and the detective work involved in tracking down my ancestors. The names I'm researching started with Northfoss, my Norwegian ancestors. Also, Rebard, my French ancestors, who came to the US in the 1850's and ended up mostly in California. Right now, I'm working on ancestors and siblings of two of my gg grandparents – Holmes Cunningham Patrick and Mary Jane Taylor whose parents were Richard Cromwell Taylor and Eliza Early. I also spent years helping photograph local gravestones for a project with Wayne Spence through our Sheriff's office to document all the burials in Shasta County, CA. Wayne passed away last year and I have all his records and am working on adding photos and memorials from the photos we took years ago that have not already been added to Find A Grave. I'm also updating his records and the final inventory he produced for the Coroner's office as new information comes to light. It is a way to honor Wayne's memory and the amazing amount of work he did!
