As a person searching for birth family, I was stunned to find the people providing me with information about my ancestors were volunteers who comb and document cemeteries!! These folks found much needed information, now I am trying to repay the debt!
I have proudly served Find-A-Grave in two countries and four states, so far!
It's a labor of love and respect!
If I provided a photo of a gravesite for your family, rest assured I cleaned it up the best I could and added a small stone in keeping with the Jewish tradition of mourning.

***A tip for folks requesting a grave photo…PLEASE take a moment to contact the cemetery office, request and attach the grave/plot location info so I can find it faster FOR YOU!

I often search after cemetery offices are closed, when it's not so hot! Thanks for taking a minute to contact the office, and thanks for the honor of documenting info for those who walked before us.
