The rules under Find a Grave are that all images submitted to the website must come from the original photographer and can't be posted from another profile on the website. I do not close off cemeteries or memorial parks to new memorials, as there needs to be clear proof that there are no extra memorials, it is difficult to close a cemetery off if it is a historical one as many records weren't available at the time. If you aren't sure if a person you are seeking is in a particular cemetery, it is always best to obtain their death certificate to ensure they are in the correct location. If you want to enquire about a photograph or interment please provide the full name, cemetery, row and plot number. Please don't take photos for any grave requests that I've claimed. It makes no end of problems as I still have to take the photo even though you have done it without my knowledge and is against the rules. I would appreciate at least a thank you message as I go out of my way to travel to do the photography in all types of weather.
