Please be a thoughtful, courteous, and kind contributor to find a grave, not just one who collects memorials. Whether that is taking photos, adding information, offering edits, adding pictures, leaving "flowers", etc. If you are one who does this, thank you!!

I research edit suggestions I receive. Please don't suggest edits based solely on information found on family trees posted on familysearch.org or other trees as the source documentation for much the information is often not cited.

Just because Findagrave transfer guidelines limits the relationship requirements to great grandchildren, 1st cousins, etc. - great-great grandchildren or 2nd cousins may have actually lived with and known the individual and may be better and more interested managers than one who has no connection to the individual and who's main interest is amassing as many tens of thousands of memorials as possible. The idea of the memorials are to honor and remember the deceased, not spotlight managers with the most memorials and inflate their ego.

If a relative or closer friend wishes to manage one of the memorials I manage, feel free to send a transfer request and let me know your relation to the individual. If they are not a close connection to me, I will likely honor you request. There are so many "hoarders" of memorials with little to no regard of the actual individual that the memorial was created for. Each memorial is for real actual person - not just another entry in a database.

Thank you to the thousands of caring and compassionate people who care for the graves, create these memorials, and whose main goal is to accurately document the grave sites and to remember and honor the individual themselves and bring as much details of their lives to light as possible.
