Born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand.

It has only been in the last 4 months of 2023 that I have started to research my family tree that lead me to Find A Grave.

From what I have found so a far via Ancestry is my heritage is English/ Croatian(Yugoslavia)/Scottish/Irish/Kiwi.

I now pay more attention to cemeteries in my area, clean up the ones that need it, then photograph the headstone so that history can be preserved and families can see where their ancestors are.

There are many that say "just throw my ashes into the wind" but from what I have researched is the future generations do what to pay their respects to their ancestors ... so please just leave a piece of you in a place where they can visit .

If I have added a memorial from someone in your family that I am the manager of, I'm happy to transfer on the memorial page - I do my best to link husbands to wives, children to parents, etc. I just ask that if you hold the page to some one in my family tree, that you transfer these to me when requested, unless you also are a relation.

I do not fulfill photo requests from council website - if I have taken a picture it means I have visited the cemetery. You do not need to ask for permission to use my grave photos, just an acknowledgment would be nice.

Any edits I send through to others have originated from Council Databases, BDM and War Records, I do make sure what I send through is pretty much accurate, if a person died during active service or well after, I will request/load their rank. "lest we not forget" they served for us!
