My grandmother Olga Kathleen (Haynes) Wade spent decades working with many of her cousins seeking out the details of our ancestors' lives. In the process of handwriting hundreds of family group sheets of an ever-expanding heritage she sparked my interest in genealogy as a teenager. Between her and a wide range of research tools (including extensive DNA testing) it has helped me acquire decades of family photos, documents, and supportive DNA connections.

I am working now with other family members including the records of my grandfather Calvin Arthur Biggers to organize it all and share with future generations. We have decided Find-a-Grave is the best means in an easily accessible internet form to connect the lives and memories of extended kinships. The technology of the "Worldwide Net" is far from perfect in sharing the extensive story of our connections as a human species but for the moment it is better to embrace then to possibly lose the history to the confines of one individual's dusty attic.
