My grandmother, Olga Kathleen (Haynes) Wade spent decades working with many of her cousins, seeking out the details of our ancestors' lives. In the process of copying hundreds of family group sheets that she had compiled of an ever-expanding heritage, it sparked my interest as a teenager. I have felt a responsibility to continue her work and that of her cousins. I continue to research, add the latest Science with DNA testing, while acquiring decades of family photos and documents to organize and share with future generations. I have decided Find-a-Grave is the best means to easily access and connect the lives and memories of extended kinships. The technology of the "Worldwide Net" is far from perfect in sharing the extensive stories of our connections. However, it is better to embrace than to possibly lose the history to the confines of one individual's dusty attic.
