I'm a photographer that is interested in local history on all levels, family, and storytelling. A lot can be learned from those who have passed on long ago. I mainly cover around northeast central Wisconsin, where I call home, particularly in northern and western Manitowoc, eastern Calumet, and southern Brown counties.

Currently I am also tackling the arduous task of compiling my family tree via this site from my four main family factions; the Schroeder's, the Matzke's, the Resch's, and the Zipperer's. It isn't easy but I welcome the challenge!
