Every day, I try to bring virtual flowers to two beautiful young people, Fred C. Martinez and Charlie O. Howard, who were victims both of murder just for who they were, and of a terrible systemic injustice, where those who took their lives got away with just a symbolic slap on the wrist. I want to make it up to both of them with all my heart.

I hold the view that the victim's life is sacred and absolute. Any attempt to understand the killer is therefore a direct insult to the victim and a disparagement of their pain. True justice does not seek excuses in circumstances but insists on moral responsibility. Memorials and memories belong exclusively to those who honored life, not to those who violently ended it.
