I am a genealogist and family historian. My research often focuses on preserving names, relationships, and historical content so that family stories are not lost to time.

My grandma was always fascinated with family plots and believed cemeteries are outdoor archives, where every marker represents a life worth remembering. Contributing to Find a Grave is a meaningful way for me to honor her memory while helping others—now and for generations to come. It is a fun way of giving back to the greater good.

As a side note, I had the opportunity to help with Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. As we laid wreaths, we were asked to say each person's name aloud, because a person never truly dies until no one says their name. With that in mind, I always say "hello" while I am there.
