I am a proud Ngunnawal bullan living on Bunurong Country. Custodian of my family's stories and heritage. Maintaining our connections to ancestors and culture.

As someone who was also removed from their mother as a baby I am very passionate about trying to piece back together our fractured lines and reconnect everyone.

I have been actively working to preserve and organise the memorials of my/our ancestors in a way that not only connects them but also into direct family lines. Many records have historically been missing , incomplete or difficult to locate. So by grouping descendants thoughtfully, maintaining accurate information and creating structured virtual cemeteries I aim to make these family histories accessible to future generations. This work ensures that my/our family's cultural identity, heritage and my/our ancestors are recognised, respected and not lost or misrepresented.

All work done on these memorials is centred on family, cultural integrity and collaboration. I ensure that every record is accurate, respectful and accessible to those with a direct connection. This approach safeguards against misrepresentation, erasure or the misuse of our family histories.

I value the work of volunteers who help create memorials but these entries reflect my family's history and it is vital that our stories as Aboriginal people remain in our care. When outsiders take control of transfers, edits or the management of these memorials it repeats patterns of erasure and suppression. And the loss of agency over our own histories carries profound pain.
