I am Welsh but now living in Scotland. I am a long time user of the site for helping with my genealogy research, but only recently decided I should probably make a profile!

There are a large number of cemeteries nearby and I endeavor to visit as many as possible and take pictures of any graves not yet on here to make sure to honor those who have passed.

I will always transcribe every part of an inscription where I can - I work in digital accessibility and so will always be mindful of people using a screen reader, whether that be due to being partially sighted, blind, dyslexia etc. I want everyone to be able to access their families final resting place and transcribing all details on any headstone is important to allow these people to do so. Even those that seem really clear to us in a photo would still be difficult or impossible to be read by someone who needs to utilise a screen reader.

I try to be as accurate as possible with the information I upload, but please if you see any inaccuracies or have any additions to any memorials I still have management of please do suggest edits - this site is about collaborating and I welcome any new information or corrections on the memorials I have! :-)

Do not hesitate to request the transfer of a memorial off me if you wish to manage a family member/ancestor/friend's memorial, I will be more than happy to transfer to you.

Also please use my photos for whatever you would like, no need to ask or give credit, I upload them to help others and I am not precious about them at all - just please keep them free!
