A fair amount of the Children, in the Sandusky County Ohio area, were lost to disease in the 1800's. I visited with each and every one of the children at Ludwig. I researched records, and found that alot of these children were not even known about in Ancestry Family Trees.Some of the kids are with siblings, and their parents are at different cemeteries. Since losing my own babies, I feel protective of these children and my goal is to find all of their families. I feel especially compassionate toward the parents that lost so many children. Some families lost multiple children, some days, weeks, months, and years apart. One family lost 10 of their 15 children to disease. To go through this pain that I am enduring, over and over again, sometimes days apart, losing child after child, makes me want to embrace and link together, as many as I can.
