Large Holy Sepulchre map
This section map has been updated to show the newest mausoleum, which, as you look at this map, is just to the lower left of the Mausoleum of the Archangels in the upper right corner. The new mausoleum seems to have no crypts filled before about 2012.
During cemetery office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday) the kiosk in the office lobby can be used by anybody to search either only Holy Sepulchre graves, or to search within a larger group of Chicago area Catholic cemeteries. Although exactly which Catholic cemeteries are included wasn't indicated on the video screen. Maybe all 44? A list of those included would be nice.
All list of 44 Catholic cemeteries in Cook and Lake counties can be seen here:
Chicago area Catholic cemeteries
That list continues on two additional pages.
The kiosk at Holy Sepulchre will show the Section, Block, Lot, and sometimes the Grave numbers for any given person. However there is no map posted in the lobby showing Block maps for each Section, or Lot maps for each Block. You would need to ask at the desk for help narrowing down a location within each Section. It would be almost impossible for people to find a burial location using only this Section map.
