Additional information
The West Granville Cemetery is located in the northwest corner of Milwaukee County and is one of the oldest cemeteries in the county with earliest burials in the 1840s, but incorporated in 1852. Many early settlers of Granville township are buried there. It was first connected with the German Evangelical & Reformed Church of Granville, founded in 1847 which was located south of the cemetery. That community later evolved into Salem Lutheran Church, located across the street from the cemetery.
