Church Cemetery, sometimes called Barber Settlement Cemetery or Whitman Cemetery, is located in Sect. 1 Twp. 2 Range 21, Townsend Township, on the west side of Medusa Road, one quarter mile north of US20, about four miles east of Norwalk. The Church Cemetery was copied in August 1960 by Henry R Timman, and was arranged into rows and rechecked by Rev. Norman Bowen in 1992. Rows are numbered beginning at the east side of the cemetery, and graves are numbered at the north end of each row.

The cemetery is located in Townsend Township, Huron County, Ohio, and is # 5856 (Barber Settlement Cemetery / Church Cemetery / Whitman Cemetery) in "Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003", compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
