Shasta General Hospital Cemetery has been called by several names including Pioneer Cemetery, Shasta Hospital Cemetery, and Shasta County Hospital Cemetery. In recent years, Scouts have added a sign that shows it as Old Shasta General Hospital Cemetery. Actually, the "old" only refers to the cemetery having been around several decades --- this term is just an adjective and should be in lower case: the old Shasta General Hospital Cemetery. It is located in Redding, California, Clear Creek Road 3 miles west of the city of Redding. (The cemetery was moved from the Shasta County Hospital.)

Take South Market St. to Breslauer Lane in south Redding. Turn on Breslauer and drive to the end of the street. It was located where the Shasta County Department of Social Services offices are today.
