Directions - From US 25 North, turn onto KY 490. Go 1.9 miles to cemetery on the right.

North of East Bernstadt, Ky at the corner of Hwy 490 and Bert Philpot Rd. Originally transcribed by Deb Kendrick and Lois Strunk, 8-3 and 5, 2001. A small fenced in area at the top of the cemetery contains newer interments. Dates after 8-2001 were posted in Mar, 2015. This cemetery was created on findagrave in Mar, 2015. In August 2015, found this was called the Watkins-Casteel Cemetery & also Philpot- Fields Cemetery. There's also confusion between this location & the "Old" Casteel Cem on Radford Rd.

From info recently received - per contributor, Anna McQueen, the Watkins-Casteel Cemetery are three separate cemeteries. The bottom portion is the Casteel Cem, the middle is the Watkins-Casteel (which years ago was separated from with a fence which has been torn down), & the very top, which is fenced in, is the Philpot-Fields Cem.
