The Bible Christian Church has been around since 1850 or even earlier, and it was rebuilt in brick in 1871 on Church Street. Behind the church, on the south side of the property, is where you will find the burial ground.

Over the years it has been called Bible Christian Cemetery, Manilla United Cemetery, but now there is a sign that calls it Manilla Cemetery by Kawartha Lakes.
