Riser Cemetery founded in 1840 by Adam Riser & Martin McLeroy.
Small fenced cemetery located on the end of a short, dead end street inside the Ruston city limits. From I-20, turn south onto highway 167 toward Jonesboro, LA. A short distance past the city sports complex, turn left onto Timbers Avenue and into the housing complex. The cemetery is behind the housing complex. Riser and Bonner cemeteries are adjacent to each other. Riser is fenced, Bonner is not but there are fenced plots inside the cemetery.
