ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Services for Ethel M. Leinbaugh, Rockford, were Aug. 6 at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., Loves Park. Inurnment will be later in Iowa. Mrs. Leinbaugh died Aug. 2, 2001, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a battle with leukemia.

She had worked at Wesley Willows and Atwood Vacuum Machine, both in Rockford. She retired in 1986. She was born Feb. 21, 1924, in Dixon, Iowa, to Frank and Anna W. (Lange) Andresen. She married Lloyd Leinbaugh on Nov. 18, 1945, in Wheatland, Iowa. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 447 in Iowa.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Lloyd; son and (spouse), Jon (Tina) Leinbaugh, Rockford; granddaughters, Jennifer Bishop and Sarah Leinbaugh; great-grandchildren, Juliauna and Noah Bishop; brothers and (spouses), Howard (Juanita) Andresen, Van Nuys, Calif., and Bill (Carolyn) Andresen, Palmyra, Mo.; sisters and (spouses), Harriet (Clyde) Hill, DeWitt, Iowa, Marianne (Ed) Bachman, Walcott, Iowa, and Phyllis (Bob) Lentfer, Iowa City; and many dear friends at Collier Gardens Meet and Eat. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eleanor Lund; and brother, Leroy Andresen.
