Sister Mary Ignatia, 84, died Tuesday morning shortly after 8 o'clock at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, N. Y., her family 'name was Mary Fecke, and she entered the convent on May 26, 1879.
For many years she was a teacher in various schools conducted by the order, retiring in 1929 and coming to the Mother house to live.
She leaves a sister, Sister M. Leonina, also a member of the Sisters of St. Francis, stationed in Denver, Colo., and a brother, Joseph Fecke, of Dayton, O., both of whom are here for the services. Services, Thursday at 8 a.m. from the hospital chapel.
Burial in St. Boniface cemetery.
