Robert D. Easterling, 81, of 3895 E. Cerro Gordo died at 10:30 a.m. in Lakeshore Manor Nursing Home, Decatur.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis.
Mr. Easterling was born Jan. 29, 1889, in Carter County, Ky., the son of H. B. and Rhoda V. Owens. He was a retired livestock dealer and a member of Wesley United Methodist
Church. He married Clara Clark in Decatur on June 18, 1910.
He is survived by wife; sons Don, Byron, Dean, John, Glen and David, all of Decatur; Wayne, Northbrook; daughter, Mrs. Harold (Betty) Smelcher, Decatur; sister Mrs. Nellie
Phillips, Illiopolis, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
