Mrs. Virginia May, 54, of Ocean City, died Sunday, Dec. 22, at Peninsula Regional Hospital, Salisbury.

She was the wife of Joseph May Jr.

Born Dec. 15, 1948, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Oliver and Leona Woods.

Mrs. May was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Berlin; and Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary, Brunswick.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, are two children, Joseph G. May III and wife Faye of New Market, and Teresa Tracy and husband Matt of Rocky Ridge; two grandchildren, Joseph May IV and Curtis West; brother-in-law, Douglas L. May Sr. and wife Susan of Frederick; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with the Rev. Donald Hammond officiating.
