MRS. ROBERT E. CAIN.
Mrs. Margaret Ann Cain, 54 year-old wife of Robert E. Cain of 125 South Adella street, died today at 1:30 a. a. at her home.
The daughter of Homer and Mary Ann Chandler, she was born in Aledo, Ill., Feb. 20, 1898. Her marriage to Robert E. Cain took place June 7, 1920. A resident of Ottumwa for the past 45 years, she was a member of the First Presbyterian church, the Order of Eastern Star No. 112, Social Order of Beauceant assembly No. 9, the American Legion auxiliary and the Eagles auxillary.
Mrs. Cain is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Hoeck of Davenport; three sons, Fred E. Cain and Robert E. Cain, Jr., both of Ottumwa, and Pvt. Homer P. Cain stationed at Camp Pickett, Va., one grandson, Freddy Cain of Ottumwa; and one brother, Paul Chandler of Elgin, Ill.
Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A. Cain, 54-year-old wife of Robert E. Cain of 126 South Adella Street who died at home Tuesday morning, will be held Thursday at 3 p. m.in the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Malvin H Lundeen, D.D., of the First Lutheran church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Lindstrom, Harry Logan, Thomas Given, Gene Kosman, Theo. Andrews and Calvin Conger.

Margaret Ann Chandler, daughter of Homer and Mary Gilmore Chandler, was born
near Aledo, Ill. on Feb 20, 1898. On June 7, 1920 she married ROBERT CAIN. He
was born Oct. 26, 1893 at Ottumwa, Ia., the son of Pierce Burton (sic) and
Sarah Emma Finley Cain. He was a carpenter by trade. They lived at Ottumwa, Ia.
She died June 3, 1952 and is buried at Ottumwa.
