Earl Butler Winn, 81, of Norman OK, passed away on February 15, 2011. He was born on February 13, 1930, to Bennie Franklin and Josephine Mary (Kennedy) Winn in Cartersville OK.
Earl served 10 years in the United States Navy and was stationed in Norman at the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) as part of the 4th Naval Construction Battalion. He had continued to be a very active lifelong member of the CB's. While stationed there, he met the love of his life, Erma Lee (Sadberry) Winn.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
He leaves his brother James Winn and wife Janice of Jenison MI; sister Shirley Winn of Jenison MI; three very special grandnieces who were his caregivers: Rita Borgardts, Gwen Harrington, and Cathy Yates; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins of Oklahoma and Michigan.
Funeral services were held on February 19, 2011.
