Mrs. Ruby Hubert Dies

Mrs. Ruby Hubert, resident of Concordia since 1912, died last. evening July 8th at St Joseph Hospital following a 10-day illness. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Hubert was born June 27, 1881 at Aurora daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fief. She was married to Joseph Hubert and he died in 1911. She moved to Concordia in 1911 and had made her home here since that time. For the past several years she had been a resident of St Ann’s Home.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Surviving are two daughters; Miss Minnie Hubert of Concordia and Mrs. Marceline Walker of Chatman, Ontario, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two sister; Lena Jones of Hasting, Nebraska and Mrs. Emil Ottis of Bay City, Texas; two brothers, Edward Fief of Houston, Texas, and Fred Fief of Danburg, Texas and a daughter-in-law Mrs. Ruth Hubert, North Platte, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and burial took place in the Catholic cemetery.
