Agnetha D. Eck (nee: Unruh), the daughter of David G. Unruh and Anna Jantz was born 24 Dec 1837 in Karlswald, near Ostrog, in the Province of Volhynia. She married Peter H. Eck (Sr), son of Henry Z. Eck and Agnes Unruh 8 Nov 1861.
In 1874, during the great migration of Mennonites to America, she with her family moved to Asia, the Province of Turkestan, where they remained for 10 years.
On 5 Sep 1885 she arrived in America, and with her family settled in McPherson, County. They later moved to a farm acquired by her son, John, in Oklahoma.
