He returned to Minneapolis, making a home with his brother, Alex and his family. He passed away on July 2, 1947, after a prolonged illness.
The funeral services were held on July 5 from the Billman Funeral Chapel with Rev. J, Nordstrom of the Adventist Church in charge. Interment was at Fredric, Wisconsin beside his wife, with Rev. Marlen Johnson officiating. He is survived by his two brothers, Gust and Alex of Minneapolis, and twelve nieces and nephew in this country and several in Sweden.
Those who attended the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Anton Carlson and daughters, Mrs. and Mrs. Edward Carlson and Mrs. William Kohrs of Blomkest.
