I am retired Aerospace Engineer and devote my volunteer time to the Genealogy and Local History Research branch of the Brownwood Community Library across from the Brown County Courthouse at 213 S. Broadway. Our hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. I am a past President of the Pecan Valley Genealogical Society here in Brown County, Texas.
Elkin Cemetery was the first of many rural cemeteries I am photographing markers in and updating new interments. I also am working on lost & abandoned cemeteries and cemeteries just across county lines.
I am, or have been a member of the Brown County Historical Commission and a Trustee for the Brownwood Community Library System. I volunteer my time to research historical events, people and places for persons with reasonable requests.
