Hi I am a retired fire chief and love history, especially family history. I have completed a new survey of the Simsboro Cemetery, the Douglas Cemetery, the Cook Cemetery, Wilder Cemetery, Pines Memorial Cemetery and Pleasant Grove Cemetery - (Douglas La.) in Lincoln Parish Louisiana and have downloaded it to FAG. I also placed a printed copy of several at the Lincoln Parish Library which includes family history from The Cemetery Associations.

I am currently working to have the Veteran's (V) placed on every veteran's memorial I come across, and also working to identify all American Legion Members memorials in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.

I have photographed every marker in the Douglas Cemetery, the Cook Cemetery, the Simsboro Cemetery, the Wilder Cemetery, and Pines Memorial Gardens in Lincoln Parish, I have posted all of them to FAG. If you find any mistakes let me know and I will get it corrected as quick as I can.

I and would love to help others find family in Lincoln Parish. I discovered the value of this site on a recent trip to Kansas, when we found some of my wife's relative's thru Find A Grave.
