Historical research is a hobby of mine. On occasion, I discover biographical information about people and exercise my research skills by tracking them down here and updating their information. There is a wealth of information on the internet, and my goal is to improve the information in Find a Grave for future researchers.

I believe information is more important than numbers. Empty memorials do not impress anyone. They more often serve to rob others of the opportunity to provide information and links that could prove important to families tracing their ancestry.

Like many volunteers here on Find A Grave, I am seldom related to the people whose information I've researched and updated. I take my research seriously and do not make changes unless I am reasonably sure of the information. If you are uncomfortable with any change and would like further clarification, please feel free to ask below.

If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, I am happy to transfer management to you. I don't mind unless it's a relative of mine. If it is, let's discuss!

Please do not transfer memorials to me without asking. Corrections I request to a memorial do not mean I desire, or deserve, to manage it. I reserve the right to return it to you. If you no longer wish to manage memorials in your care, please transfer them to Find a Grave, contributor #8.
