I am a 51-year-old mother of three grown children. I reside in Gainesville, Texas and own a trucking business with my husband. I started working on my family tree 30 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest son and was given a baby book that had a family tree chart. I wanted to be able to give him as much information about his ancestors as I could. That turned into a mission to not let those who came before me be lost to time. That mission spread to help others find their people also. I once heard that everyone dies twice, one time when you stop breathing and a second time when somebody says your name for the last time. I like to think by doing genealogy and helping others that we keep people from dying a second time. Long live those we loved, the memories they shared with us, and the history they passed on.
