Exploring the family tree has been quite an undertaking. And it has gone places I never imagined it might. It is amazing to find your ancestors have made all kinds of contributions to our land. And it is fascinating. And for me this has been a long exploration. Began with the microfilm being ordered into the library and other research on the old computer from various Historical Societies.
The amazing thing on the Findagrave site is the numbers of explorers who find their way to enter so many headstones.
Like the census transcriptions on occasion there were headstone errors too I found dates on 2 relatives who died as children which were identical though they were not born the same year or date. Problem was headstones were done at the same time. Its a bit of a fuss to redo. So never happened.
And a big Thank You to all who have assisted and some of the responses have been so dear. Heart warming and gracious.
