I am a member of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists. When I post a memorial I thoroughly check to make sure any information I post is correct. However, no matter how accurate I try to be there is always the chance the information is not correct. Please contact me if my information is not correct. I have no problem admitting I made a mistake.

I like to communicate with other members and cannot understand why some have shut off their messaging option. I like to help members find their missing ancestors. I get as excited as they are when it happens and sometimes it requires interaction. If you receive negative messages from someone you can just ignore them. All the communications I have received from other members have not been pleasant but I simply scroll on. Most of my messages have been positive and I have met many wonderful people. I have also received some much needed help from someone in Germany, the country my ancestors emigrated from in the 1850's. He was able to explain my inability to find information on my Great Grandma and provided her information along with a reference to that information.

I will do my best to fulfill any requests for photos and am always disappointed when there is no marker for the grave. I add a plot map to the memorial with a photo of where the grave is located because it is the best I can do. I make a point of seeking out the requests marked as PROBLEM NOTED and fulfilling those requests whenever possible.

Each grave is the last resting place of someone who lived a life. I often wonder what kind of life it was. Were they happy? Were they good people ( I prefer to think this) or were they tormented by demons they couldn't control. I give each one the respect they deserve, no matter what, for doing the best they could. I thank the veterans for their service and for allowing us all to live in the freedom we enjoy.

I draw my plotmaps using the registry entries from the Beaverdale site. If you have contacted the office and the plot map does not agree with what they say, please message me and I will make the changes. Please don't copy my plotmap, make the changes and claim it as your own. I spend a lot of time putting them together. You may use my photos, however. LOL.

RECENTLY, OUR WEATHER HERE IN CONNECTICUT IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO HUNTING. FRIGID TEMPERATURES AND SNOW KEEP ME INSIDE. IN THE SUMMER THE RAINEY, HUMID WEATHER KEEPS ME INSIDE. SO, WHEN THIS HAPPENS I RESEARCH THE PEOPLE IN THE REQUESTS AND FILL IN ANY MISSING INFORMATION I CAN FIND. GENEALOGY IS NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE AND THERE IS ALWAYS CONFLICTING INFORMATION SO I DO MY BEST TO KEEP IT ACCURATE.
